The Divine Religion

Upon an afternoon in Spring, four men of different races and creeds
gathered to pray and worship in the open fields.

The first man stood with his arms spread wide and with his palms facing the heavens.
The second man, with his palms held close together at his breast, knelt upon the fresh green grass.
The third man sat comfortably in a lotus position
with the thumb touching the middle finger in each hand.
The fourth man however simply stood and watched from afar in wonder.

After a while, the other three said unto the fourth:
Why have you chosen to be far from us?
Come join in our worship and meditation!

And the fourth man replied:
In my beholding of you, I am in worship and praise.

And they all continued in their afternoon prayer.

All things inherently contain a duality within them. Those that resonate openly are readily recognized as a symbol for the paradoxical nature of Life, which is both duality and unity.
